The campus where the Language Centre is in. It used to be a public hospital (Altes Allgemeines Krankenhaus).

Picture2

About 60 courses taking place at the same time.

Picture3

A varied cohort: the top ten nationalities that took part in the courses.

Picture4

Bump into shining, newly restored old buildings around campus, like this Votivkirche.

Picture5

Visit a classic Viennese Kaffeehaus.

Picture6

And read Plato in German (of all things!) while having an Apfelstrudel and a Melange.

Picture7

Bask in the sun and swim in the Danube during the weekend.

Picture8

Try some typical Viennese street food!

Picture9

Find some “enlightened” graffiti on the street after discussing Kant in class (“Habe Mut dich deines eigenen Verstandes zu bedienen!”)

Picture10

Spend the afternoon reading a play in the terrace of a coffee house in the Josefstadt.

Picture11

Go to listen to some classical music at the Konzerthaus. This year there were free tickets for the 7th World Peace Choral Festival.

Picture12

Try a few local beers.

Picture13

And some local food, like this Gulasch with Knödel, or Schnitzel with Kartoffelsalat.
